We work closely with our suppliers and love the items we sell! We’re delighted to introduce our brands to you.

Aden & Anais

US company Aden & Anais was formed by two Australian mothers who, on moving to the US in the mid 1990's, found it too difficult to locate suitable muslin wraps for their children, (a staple item for Australian mums). They decided to make their own, and had so much interest that Aden & Anais launched in 2004. Their muslin wraps are now a must-have for celebrity mums such as Gwen Stefani & Naomi Watts, and the ladies have taken their dedication one step further, producing a range of GOTS certified organic cotton muslin wraps which DaisychainBaby is delighted to be stocking.

Bamboo Baby

Founded in London in 2006, Bamboo Baby seek to manufacture clothing with minimum negative impact on the environment. Using bamboo grown in China at a bamboo production facility which has its own plantation in Sichuan Province, Bamboo Baby can ensure that the bamboo is grown in accordance to the international organic standard of OCIA/NOP. Bamboo Baby employs full time staff based in Shanghai to monitor and oversee their production processes to ensure they adhere to the strict ISO9000 and ISO14000 standards. Finally the goods are shipped to the UK via sea rather than airfreight.

Beaming Baby

A host of accolades follows the Beaming Baby products and brand wherever they go! Based in Devon, Beaming Baby has recently been awarded "Highly Commended" in the Best Skincare Category by Mother & Baby Magazine. This follows on from their organic skincare range being voted a finalist in the Best New Organic Non-Food Product category at the Organic Industry Awards 2006 and organic skincare wipes being voted Best for the Environment by Pregnancy & Birth Magazine.

Charlie Moos

Mum-of-two Joanne Dewberry set up her business Charlie Moo's after being disappointed at the quality of party bags her son Charlie was receiving. She decided to make her own range of eco-friendly party bags using fun, colourful fabrics which mean that the bags could be reused and are kinder to the environment than using plastic. Following the launch of her website in 2008, 2009 has seen Charlie Moo's go from strength-to-strength as Joanne was awarded a Future Young Entrepreneur award.

Daisy Dumpling

Launched in 2000, Daisy Dumpling handmake a range of knitted accessories using only organic and baby alpaca yarns which are dyed using natural colourings. Owner Maggie Gibbs designs her creations and finishes them with embellishments such as coconut and shell buttons. We love this brand for not only using organically sourced materials, but for using an entirely ethical production process and keeping everything within the UK.

Fozia

Mother of two Fozia Hill is the inspiration behind a wonderful new clothing label, Fozia. She created the range after the birth of her two daughters, realising a need for colourful and well-made organic clothes that were also totally ethically produced. Working with talented designer Sarah Hawkins, Fozia produces a fabulous and fun line with beautiful prints, bright colours and wonderful designs. In addition, each item is designed to last beyond the season in which it is sold, remaining as a staple in baby’s wardrobe. We love this commitment to longevity and are delighted to have Fozia London on board!

Green Cotton

Green Cotton are our first Scandi brand and we love their vibrant original designs and bold colours. They have existed as a registered trademark since the late 80s but the company behind them, Novotex A/S, has been a pioneer in the manufacture of environmentally friendly and sustainable textiles for many years. Novotex was the first to produce clothes from certified organic cotton, and is certified according to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001. Novotex is also awarded with GOTS, the OKO-Tex 100 label and the EU eco label The Flower.

Green Eyed Monster

Providing premium organic and fair trade childrenswear for the more discerning baby and child, Green Eyed Monster have developed a phenomenal following since their launch in 2007. Their funky clothing range features bold patterns and bright patterns, with their retro lines appealing to adults as well as little ones! Their cotton jersey garments are produced using innovative and fully certified ecological dyeing, printing and production methods, without the use of harmful chemicals, which are kinder to the skin as well as the environment. Their luxury fair trade alpaca blend knitwear is ethically crafted produced in Peru using ethical and sustainable raw material.

Furthermore, there are no chemical processes involved in the production of any Green Line products and all dyes used in their fabrics are completely organic. They are also committed to Fair Trade employment practices which mean that all employees earn above standard level of income and are of legally employable age.

Imse Vimse

Established in Sweden in 1988, founder Marie Walleberg came up with the idea of producing washable nappies after her daughter suffered with a severe nappy rash. The first company in Sweden to develop certified environmentally approved cloth nappies, Imse Vimse now trades internationally and aims to become one of the most environmentally friendly companies in the organic market. They are currently promoting Fox Fibre, which is not only organically grown but also “colour” grown, further minimising its environmental impact.

Leg Huggers

All Leg Huggers products are made using sustainable eco-friendly bamboo which is arguably one of the world's best sustainable resources. With a growth rate of up to a metre or more per day, bamboo holds the world record as the fastest growing plant. It is more anti-bacterial than other fabrics, which are very absorbent, causing them to hold dampness in. Because bamboo wicks moisture away, it's great for your circulation and skin, preventing over-heating or chills from trapped-in moisture. It is also hypoallergenic, and its organic, natural fibre properties make it non-irritating to even the most sensitive skin. Bamboo clothing also protects you from UV rays, naturally.

Little Green Radicals

Little Green Radicals is the range of clothing for children and babies by organic and fairtrade fashion company Hug. Their clothing is made with Fairtrade certified cotton, one of the first companies to achieve this recognition, and they also ensure to use the most ecological water-based inks currently available for printing. They love vibrancy and so do we!

Little Shrimp

There’s no denying the sheer quality and luxurious feel of our clothing range from Little Shrimp. Founder Donna created the company in 2002, inspired by her love of coastal locations and natural influences, and this is evident in her latest stunning design. They also take certification very seriously, and all their products are licensed by the Soil Association. Maintaining a commitment to an organic and sustainable ethos to ensure ethical production, all their prints and dyes meet the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) and all packing bags are Greenpoint low density poly ethylene and PVC free. We’re delighted to be able to offer our customers every piece from the collection so you can see for yourself just how wonderful it is.

Millie Blue

We met Nicky Cooper, owner of Millie Blue and designer of its gorgeous dresses at our regular Duckpond Market in Ruislip. She sources vintage and recycled fabrics to handmake a range of A-shaped dresses for babies and toddlers. As there are only a limited run in each pattern, her dresses are very unique, and because of the classic shape and style, evolve as your baby grows from a dress to a top which can be teamed up with jeans or leggings.

Oh Sew Nice

Oh Sew Nice was established in the UK in July 2008 by mum Channa Mills following the birth and subsequent teething of her daughter Catrin. Looking for something suitable to cope with the excessive dribble, Channa came across bandana bibs as a funky, stylish way of keeping her baby dry, but unable to find them to buy in the UK, decided to design her own range. Using mainly recycled fabrics, but also offering a bespoke service, all the bibs are handmade in the UK, and are very unique as only a limited number are made in each fabric. They make a great gift as well as being very practical.

Olli & Lime

Olli & Lime are passionate about quality and style, which is evident in their stunning collection of children’s bedroom furnishings. Using signature designs and colours, Olli and Lime are able to create a contemporary look which is modern and refreshing, the end result being a welcome alternative to the classic pastels we’re all so used to seeing. They believe in high quality manufacturing whilst respecting the environment, which has culminated in a lovely range of items made in the UK using organic cotton.

Pili Pala

Produced in a beautiful converted farmhouse in Wales, Pili Pala (meaning "butterfly" in Welsh) childrenswear is made of softest organic cotton, recycled fabrics and bamboo. Creating stylish playproof collections for babies and children, their range of garments are designed to be kind to the environment, not only from a fabric point of view, but also with a sustainable ethos. Using a beeswax based salve combined with herbs and oils has proved a success and Pure Potions are members of the Soil Association and also of the Health Food Association. Aside from their products feeling good, they look fantastic in their bespoke packaging.
